They fit lower in the waist, which I found to be the only difference.
The tri top should be fine. Personally, I would keep it on; I hate exposing my mommy tummy!
Love the gear. I like to wear a tri top, too, because of that whole fish-white baby-birthing belly thing, but maybe that's just me. Tri tops go in the water just fine. Hubby's shorts are perfectly acceptable if they fit okay. The chamois is so thin it's hardly gender-specific. Is the skirt a race-belt skirt and easy to clip on? Then go for it.
ROCK your race, girl!! It saves a ton of time at transition. I watch other people spent several minutes changing into different clothes, but all i do is slip in my biking shoes, pull on the helmet and sunglasses and i'm off. It you zip it up all the way you should get any drag. Plus, also from experience, pulling a shirt onto a very wet body coming out of the water is probably going to take up way more time than a little drag while you're swimming. I think the less changing/application of clothing you can get away with the better! No clue about the chamois though ... those are still a mystery to me.Diana Tries-A-Tri!https://www.blogger.com/profile/01837551540863320980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332850904986679402.post-88463667127516869802010-09-10T12:29:08.231-07:002010-09-10T12:29:08.231-07:00If I were you I'd wear Jesse's shorte (if ...If I were you I'd wear Jesse's shorte (if they fit and you're comfortable) with your tri top for the entire race. If you need the support, wear the bra top too. Tri tops fit snug and they won't cause you to loose that much time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04123983428695061096noreply@blogger.com
