Motivation Monday!

That's right. Adorable Wife is here to help you kick your week off right! For most of us (ok me,) the weekend involves a lot some resting, many the occasional midnight snacks, and getting way off your normal schedule. Sunday is usually our day of rest, so we may do family exercising (walks, wii, play ball, etc), but no hard core training in most cases. This makes Mondays the day I step back into my square training pants and hit it hard. Like I needed another reason to dread Mondays. But, what if I could get the motivation I needed to get my Manic Mondays started right? Something inspirational or perhaps funny. Maybe I could even share it with you all (ok, so like the 12 of you that read my blog, but can I say yay for 12 followers!) in the hopes that you may get a better start to your week too!

So what is the first weeks inspiration going to be? How bout we start with something truly meaningful and intense. Something, that will touch you deep inside and light a fire of desire in your heart. For my first weeks motivation I want you all to picture this behind you...

and run, very quickly in the other direction! Or if you happen to think this future little track star is adorable, you can pretend you are running towards him, or your own little ones!

Ok, not serious enough for you, let me see if I can do better. There once was a man from Peru... NO that isn't right either. Let's try these actually inspiring quotes from those far wiser than I.

"I don't feel right unless I have a sport to play or at least a way to work up a sweat."
Hank Aaron 1934-, American Baseball Player

"Sports do not build character. They reveal it."
John Wooden \1910-, American Basketball Coach

"Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable manner."
Les Brown 1945-, American Speaker, Author, Trainer, Motivator Lecturer

And some plain good advice from a very smart man (Sarcasm!)

"Never bet on baseball."
Pete Rose 1942-, American Baseball Player, Manager
